    Legal & Health Compliance

    From October 2025, Awaab’s Law requires social housing landlords in England to investigate and repair serious damp and mould hazards within defined timeframes. For example, emergency hazards must be addressed within 24 hours and significant damp/mould issues within around 10 working days. Whilst the private rented sector implementation is still being phased in, this legislative change underlines the importance of independent, professional diagnosis and reporting.
